 1970s Fancy Dress Disco

Come and have a fun night out on the 13th Feb and help raise funds for three local groups including the hockey club. This event is being run at the Civic Hall by The Longridge Social Enterprise Company in conjunction with The Goosnargh and Longridge Show and Our Hockey Club. Tickets are priced £5 and are available from the Social Committee at Training. Why not get a table together? Prizes for the best Fancy Dress!

If you have any old clothes, bedding, curtains, shoes handbags or soft toys please put them in a bin bag and bring them to training on the above date or to a game or training session before hand.

The club will get £400 for every tonne we collect to go towards equipment and coaching courses so please ask all your family and friends to have a good clear out!

Pre season training starts at Longridge from 7-8pm on Tuesday 4th August and will run every Tuesday until September for anyone who is interested. The training is open to all and we are always looking for new players of all abilities to join us.

From September 1st training is back to the usual time of 7.30pm-8.30pm. Junior training restarts on the 8th September 6.30pm – 7.30pm

 Anna joined Longridge hockey club as a junior member over 15 years ago; since then the number of hours she has put into developing the club and its members is overwhelming The club could honestly not operate without her. Longridge Hockey club has grown from strength to strength and Anna has played a major part in this. We hope Anna accepts this award as a small token of our appreciation to her for all the hard work and dedication she puts into the club and support she gives the members.
