Longridge Hockey Club’s Chairperson Lynn Hoyle last night (Saturday 16 May) picke
d up the prestigious Club Member of the Year Award at the inaugural national hockey awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham.
Lynn has devoted 33 years to our club, turning her hand to everything from coaching and umpiring to chairing the committee. As a former 1st XI coach, one of Lynn’s most significant contributions this past year has been as mentor to up-and-coming coaches. Read More »

To help promote the club and as an end of season celebration we are putting a float in Longridge field day.
The theme is Wizard of Oz and all players (young and old) and parents are welcome to
come a join in.
Longridge field day is on the 13th June and if you want to be on the float we have to be there at 11.30am.

A big thank you to all those who helped marshal this weekend; both the runners and the organisers really appreciated it and donated £210 to the club.
Despite the early start it was a great day with lots of funny stories (ask Fran about her face wash!) and Jenny even managed a nap in between all her hard work!!

An end of season 7 a side tournament, organised by the University of Central Lancashire saw Longridge compete in a round robin fomat with Lancaster A & B, Morecambe, and Garstang. Under clear blue skies, the Longridge team decked out in the sky blue shirts were in bright spirits and eager to demonstrate how they had all developed during the season. Read More »
